This is the number-one question our patients who are pregnant or are hoping to get pregnant are asking right now: Should I get the vaccine? Since clinical trials typically exclude pregnant women as well as those who are breastfeeding, there is limited data on this topic. However, the CDC says that pregnant women who are part of a group recommended to receive the Covid-19 vaccine can “choose to be vaccinated,” while the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists notes that vaccines “should not be withheld from pregnant individuals who meet criteria for vaccination.”Read more
