Clinic Sofia Turns 15!
Clinic Sofia is celebrating its 15th anniversary this month! As if this weren’t wonderful enough, we have three amazing employees who have been with us from the very beginning! We touched base to ask them what has changed, what has stayed the same and what they love the most about this special place.
Jenifer Rossow, Certified Medical Assistant who is training to become a sonographer: “What I have enjoyed about working at Clinic Sofia is how you feel like you are ‘home.’ I never dread coming to work. I am lucky enough to work with one of my best friends (since we were 3 years old!), and we all truly have a sisterhood and treat each other like family. It’s a special trait we’ve been able to keep for 15 years and it makes me proud to be a part of.”
She adds the office has changed, but the atmosphere hasn’t: “No matter how many new people join our family, we have always kept the same mission. I am grateful to have been able to watch a dream become our reality. I am excited for the next 15 years and more!”
Nancy Kibwage, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer: She loves “the family atmosphere and the closeness the staff shares. We have experienced the happiest of times together (weddings, births) and have been there for each other through the saddest times (major illnesses, deaths in the family.) Through it all, we have stood together and provided amazing care for our patients. Many staff members have been with Clinic Sofia for five years or more, which speaks volumes to our loyalty to each other and to our patients. It’s that extra-special touch that sets Clinic Sofia apart.”
Amy Nelson, Certified Medical Assistant/Lab Technician: “It’s amazing to look back at where we started. The clinic is constantly changing for the better – the one thing that has stayed the same and will always stay the same is our philosophy and passion to care for our patients. I think the next 15 years will be pretty big for the clinic – we have an amazing team and will continue to take this clinic above and beyond!”
