Thank you and goodbye to Dr. Krahl
By now, many of you have heard that Dr. Deb Krahl is leaving Clinic Sofia to head south as she has accepted a position as an OB Hospitalist in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is eager to take on a new role and looks forward to warmer winters.
“Dr. Krahl has been such a wonderful provider, business partner and friend during her tenure at Clinic Sofia and throughout the past 25 years as she has cared for women as their OB-GYN doctor,” said Dr. Jewelia Wagner. “She will be missed dearly, but we want to acknowledge and thank her for her many contributions, including bringing many of her longtime, cherished patients into the Clinic Sofia family. We wish her well on her new ventures.”
In her new role at Plantation General Hospital, Dr. Krahl will care for patients who come to the hospital to deliver or have gynecological issues.
“After years of very cold Minnesota winters and now that my kids are both almost out of college and forging life on their own, I am ready for a new personal and professional challenge,” said Dr. Krahl. “This was a really difficult decision as Clinic Sofia is such a very special place!”
She credits Clinic Sofia for fostering a nurturing, supportive culture that truly looks out for its patents’ overall health and emotional needs and empowers its staff to offer this extensive support. This has allowed her to develop the deep, personal interactions with her patients that she has enjoyed the most throughout her career.
“It has truly been my honor to have cared for you the past 25 years as your OB-GYN doctor! I have enjoyed every day of my career and getting to know you and your families,” said Dr. Krahl. “As OBGYN’s we have a very special bond with our patients over time and we are there to support you through amazing as well as hard times in life. I hope to have made a difference in each of your lives in some way.”
