Clinic Sofia Takes Pride in Support of LQBTQ+ Community
Each June, Pride Month recognizes and celebrates the stories, work, culture and issues of the LGBTQ+ community. With the ubiquitous rainbow flag, Pride Month includes parades and events, awareness and education.
Health equity is a key focus of this year’s Pride Month. Higher levels of heart disease among transgender and gender diverse people are linked to the stresses of discrimination and transphobia, according to the American Heart Association. Clinic Sofia proudly supports healthy equity for all and welcomes everyone to our clinic.
