What We are Thankful for This Year
The month of Thanksgiving always offers the perfect opportunity to pause, reflect and give thanks for all of the big and small wonders in our life.
“We are truly thankful for all of our patients, for your trust, for sharing important moments in your lives, and for your conversations and inspiration,” said Dr. Donna Block. “Clinic Sofia is a wonderful place to work because of the amazing people we are fortunate to see and connect with every day.”
In addition, here is what our team is especially grateful for:
Dr. Donna Block: “This year, I am grateful for my family, who bring love and support, as well as for the women and their families who have given me the opportunity to not only care for them but also to learn about their courage and resilience.”
Dr. Amy Hammers: “This year, I am grateful that my husband and I were able to move home this past summer – we love being close to our family and friends. I am also grateful that Clinic Sofia gave me the opportunity to become a part of their mission and that everyone has been so welcoming – our staff is amazing!”
Dr. Jewelia Wagner: “This year, I am grateful for for my husband and thankful he can juggle a career and all five of us girls. I am thankful for all my girls Erin, Autumn and my twins, Brittan and Emery, and for the medical providers who brought them into the world (Dr. Block) and the providers who continue to care for them. I am thankful for my health and for the health of all my family. And I am thankful for the Clinic Sofia staff, the fun friendships and wonderful opportunities the clinic has offered.”
Jennifer Knapp, WHCNP: “This year, I am grateful for my husband’s sense of humor and amazing cooking; my son’s compassion, smile and dance skills; my daughter’s bold and engaging personality; for my parents and how in love and stinking cute they are; all the extras: time, sweat, travel, coffee, yoga, running, dark chocolate; experiences; and my work as a women’s health nurse practitioner, the patients we work with and our incredible team.”
