Welcome Dr. Pamela Jordi
07.31.2019We are excited to announce a new addition to our growing practice! Dr. Pamela Jordi, whose official start date is Aug. 12, was drawn to Clinic Sofia's holistic approach to women's healthcare and looks forward to "the opportunity to connect with women in every stage of life." A Minnesota native, Dr. Jordi completed her undergraduate education in Biology at the University of St. Thomas, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, before attending medical school at Creighton University in Omaha, Neb. There she made “a decision of the heart” to explore women’s health, completing her residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. During the third year of residency, Dr. Jordi had her son, gaining an even greater appreciation for a healthy pregnancy, the labor process and parenthood. “We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Jordi back to Minnesota and to the family of care providers at Clinic Sofia,” said Clinic Sofia’s Clinic Administrator Katie Sexe. “With her patient-centered approach and dedication to helping women with everything from pregnancy assessment to surgical management, Dr. Jordi will be a wonderful resource for women throughout the Twin Cities.” Read her complete bio here.

Dr. Block: Where is she now?
04.30.2019Based on your questions and comments, we know how much many of you miss our founder, Dr. Donna Block, who retired and moved from the Twin Cities about a year ago. We had a wonderful time catching up with her on where she is, what she is doing and what she is enjoying! Dr. Block moved to Raleigh, N.C., to be closer to family (chiefly her two grandkids) – naturally, she loves the winters but missed Minnesota in the summer. She is also focusing on travel, wellness and thoughtful determining “what is next.” Read our full interview here.
