Preconception and Fertility

If you are thinking about pursuing pregnancy, you can talk with your OB/Gyn provider to help prepare to make it the healthiest pregnancy possible. Your caregiver is here to help you plan for a healthy baby with preconception counseling. Becoming pregnant is not easy for all couples. Fertility treatments and counseling are available to help you and your partner conceive.

Contraception

There are many forms of contraception available to Sofia’s patients, including barrier methods, pills, patch, ring, injection, subdermal implant, IUDs, and permanent sterilization. No method of contraception is perfect for every person, but we will help you find the method that works best for you.

Sterilization Methods

Once you are done childbearing, you may choose to prevent future pregnancies. When you want to know your permanent sterilization options, please ask your caregiver about laparoscopic tubal ligation and vasectomy.
