Vaccine Eligibility for Pregnant Women

The state of Minnesota recently moved to the next phase of its vaccination rollout, meaning some pregnant women are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.

According to the state’s COVID website, people with two or more underlying medical conditions* are now eligible.  Please note: pregnancy is considered an underlying condition.  Therefore, if you are pregnant and have an additional underlying medical condition, you are now eligible for the vaccine.

While Clinic Sofia does not administer the vaccine, we recommend all of our patients sign up with the state’s Vaccine Connector in order to be alerted when you are eligible. If you are pregnant and have an underlying medical condition and need a letter of confirmation from our clinic, please reach out.
