Upcoming TeamWomen Events
Clinic Sofia is proud to be a longtime supporter of TeamWomen, a local nonprofit that brings women together for unique networking and mentoring opportunities, and we are particularly excited to share information about two upcoming events we hope you will join us for.
First, is the organization’s 8th Annual Women’s Leadership Conference taking place April 26 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the InterContinental Hotel St. Paul Riverfront. The day-long event includes an amazing line-up of speakers who are successful, inspirational and motivational women from a variety of professions, educations and life experiences.
“One again, Clinic Sofia is a sponsor of this amazing event that really empowers women to pursue their passions and achieve their full potential,” said Clinic Administrator Katie Sexe-Talbot. “Our own staff looks forward to this event each year, to mingle and network with others and also to gain fresh perspectives and learning to take back to our own Clinic Sofia community.”
Then on May 16, Clinic Sofia Physician Assistant Allie Nowak will lead an informative session with TeamWomen on the importance of gut health and the link between the gut and common health issues. Recognizing that many women put their own health on the backburner, the session will emphasize the importance of focusing inward on how our bodies are performing—starting with our gut.
“Gut Check: The Key to Good Health” will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Minikahda Club in Minneapolis.
